Pfeifer Industries, LLC prohibits the use of our products and/or the products that we distribute that fall outside of the Continental ContiTech and/or Gates Rubber Company design guidelines and specifications. Specifically the following uses ARE FORBIDDEN due to the risk of serious injury or death:

Primary in-Flight Aircraft Systems:
Do not use Pfeifer Industries products and/or the products that we distribute for Continental ContiTech and/or Gates Rubber Company on aircraft propeller or rotor drive systems or in-flight accessory drives. Pfeifer Industries belt drive systems are not intended for aircraft use.

Braking Systems:
Do not use Pfeifer Industries products and/or the products that we distribute for Continental ContiTech and/or Gates Rubber Company in applications that depend solely upon the belt to slow or stop a mass, or to act as a brake without an independent safety back-up system. Pfeifer Industries belt drive systems are not intended to function as a braking device in “emergency stop” systems.
