Timing Belt Pulley - Face Width Tolerances
Timing belt pulley face width tolerances are important when manufacturing timing belt pulleys. The timing belt needs to be able to float on the timing belt pulley.
Face width tolerances exist for both belt guided (flanged) and non-belt guided (unflanged) timing belt pulleys.
The distance between timing belt guide flanges on the pulley has to be large enough to properly seat the timing belt.
